Also, do you think that once in the playoffs the Chargers with a head of steam will play to their potential and up to the expectations everyone had of them this year?

Well as of this moment the Chargers are in first place in their division and will most likely make the playoffs. Once in the playoffs however is a totally different story altogether but then again anything can happen come January.

i think the expectations of the Chargers have long since been left behind. They had high hopes coming into this season, but while everyone in SD likes to blame Norv Turner, there's a certain amount of responsibility that falls on the lack of execution by the players. They may make a run at it, but I would expect some miraculous transformation once the post season starts.

I think once the chargers get to the playoffs they will play at their potential and get crushed by the teams who actually belong there.

The Chargers are in first in their division and should stay there.. They more than likely will be the 4 seed and play the 5 seed (would be Jacksonville at this point) in SD in wildcard round... if they win that... they would probably then travel to NE,,, and then if they knocked the Pats off travel either to Indy or Pittsburgh.... a tough road for sure,,,

They have just about as much chance as any other division leading team. Remember the phrase: Any given Sunday. I'm hoping they play up to their potential. It's disheartening to see so much talent sitting at home in January.

With a good head of steam any of the top 4 AFC teams can win.

Given their division then yes they have a shot. Will they go far? No because Turner and his coaching staff does not compare to Marty's group. They do not look anything like last year's team..

One word "Norvy"

Loss in first round to Cleveland, the Browns mock Merriman and his stupid dance and LT whines again. There is nobody in the NFL that asks to be mocked more than (give me some juice) Merriman.

Yes, but the chances are getting slimmer!
