What is J.D Salinger's home address in New Hampshire

His home has no address. The local post office knows where to take his mail, and the local population are very willing to help Salinger keep his secret.

For a long time some people thought he was kind of nutty for being such a recluse. Then in December of 1980 Mark David Chapman shot and killed John Lennon, claiming to be Holden Caulfield. He sat down after the shooting and started reading Catcher in the Rye.

I think after that incident a lot of people understood Salinger's actions a lot better. If you respect the author you should also respect his privacy.

You might as well try to find Thomas Pyncheon! If you want to contact Salinger, you can write to him in care of his publisher, and the letter should be forwarded. Just don't bank on receiving an answer.

I'm sure it's unlisted and any soliciting would be unwanted. He's pretty wacky and a bit of a hermit. Just leave him alone if you have any real admiration for him.
