I love these kinds of nights because I can dig out the old comfort recipes from winters gone by. I'm thinking tonight will be a good stew or chili - how about you?

Beef stew with big chunks of beef and potatoes. Fresh baked bread with real butter and honey
a bowl of strawberry ice cream before I push away from the table and then a nice sipping whiskey on ice to end the night.

chicken noodle or broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl. Gotta love it! Even better when there is a fire in the fireplace and a really great movie in the DVD player.

My all time favorite meal is a delicious steak, potatoes with mashed steamed veggies (I like the way I make mine) with gravy on it, and corn. I also love dinner rolls. Soft and smooshy bread is YUMMY. (yay carbs!)

=D

I also like ice cream for desert. I like ice cream anytime basically.
