Seriously. I am *NOT* feelin' it today.

I don't know if it's the crappy, snowy weather, the stress of the impending holiday(s) and the craziness that ensues, the fact that it's really quiet at work right now or what, but I am in a funk.

I'm not depressed. I'm not angry. I'm just.....there.

So what song would you play me to snap me out of this funk?

Good question. When I'm really "not feeling it" it wouldn't matter if you set up a sound stage in my backyard and announced that Type O Negative and Rob Zombie would be taking the stage shortly. I guess something that can give you a good laugh might be of some help. Maybe something by They Might Be Giants.

Your checklist is so finished, people, this is no longer basic to come back in and make the save this time. staggering checklist. If Smiley would not get the main suitable answer this time i'm phoning the FBI. I even have some favorites that are greater imprecise and ignored the gang, yet then i'm additionally no longer shocked - when you consider that this is my pastime to discover the nuggets that the international overlooks. The Winstons (1969) - colour Him Father Chuck Brown & The Soul Searchers (1979) - Bustin' loose Xavion (1984) - consume Your heart Out (such as residing shade!) do no longer overlook the baritone lovemongers obtainable, Barry White and Isaac Hayes.

Dr. Bowzer (it was hell pretending to a human all through medical school, I mean, walking on your hind legs on day can kill your heels, I tell you) prescribes:

"Me & Julio Down By The Schoolyard" by Paul Simon
"Loves Me Like A Rock" by Paul Simon ("Live Rhymin' version)
"How Can I Keep From Singing" by Eva Cassidy
"Blitzkrieg Bop" by The Ramones
"Ballroom Blitz" by Sweet
"Do The Time Warp" from The Rocky Horror Picture Show

(Dance along vigorously to the last three songs for all you're worth, then collapse tired but happy)

Wow I feel the SAME way today! I don't know if this is the kind of stuff you want, but when I'm in one of these moods I like to listen to stuff like:
"Time Is Running Out" by Papa Roach
"...To Be Loved" Papa Roach
"Until The End" Breaking Benjamin

good luck with your riding of the funk.

I seem to be in a permanent "funk".
But when it's worse than usual [like today] i like to listen to some Van Morrison. "Moondance" usually helps a bit...

Or I'll listen to the entire Appetite for Destruction album by Guns N' Roses and jump around like a loon for a while - that helps a bit too..
