I think you're just fine with using these two names together for sibling. Bella and Brandee are still different enough that they don't sound too alike. If you were going to go Brandee and Brenda, I would tell you to rethink it, but Brandee and Bella sound just fine to me. Good choice!

Not at all, the only thing in common is the letter B. If you had said Brandee and Bree, or Bailyee, then yes, those are similar sounding, but Bella is fine.

Not only too similar, but too different at the same time. It seems like the parents purposefully picked another B name feeling they had to "match" the first, for some odd reason, but picked one of an entirely different style. Brandee is obviously a spelling variation of popular 70s/80s throwback Brandy, which isn't overly-frilly or feminine by any means. Bella, on the other hand, is a currently-popular, VERY frilly name that literally means "pretty." The two are NOTHING alike stylistically ... and yet will come across as oddly similar and matchy nonetheless, I'm afraid.

I agree with "Irish Mommy" - the names are too different in the "type" of name that are, and also "matchy" just isn't cute.
Brandee (ugh - spelling!) goes more with a name like Tammy... I'm sure there are others but none that come to mind right now.

The names aren't too close together at all. Each name sounds different and has it's own uniqueness to it. I love both names, especially Bella! Definitely consider naming your next girl that name!

ooooh, i LOVE BELLA! ^_^ it's the CUTEST NAME out there right now! nice choice!
and the names both sound familiar, but not too similar- like 'sisters' names should sound. ^-^ hehe.. but, here's one tip my aunty gave me: do the "HOLLER TEST" (haha) if you can't say it LOUD and/or when you're mad, then the name might not work. i tried saying BELLA LORRAINE really loud a few times and my tongue kept trippin on itself! >_< haha, i'm a bozo, i know. and i don't think you should let my opinion or anyone else's on here influence you, but i'm wondering if you've considered another sound for a middle name, like a solid 'm' sound.. maybe like "marie" or something like that. idk, i think the 'beLLA LOrraine' parts just sticks more than rolls... but like i keep saying, if you like it, it's gonna be perfect! >^-^<
best of luck to you & the new addition!!

I think so. They wouldn't be too close for a nickname, though.
Would you consider Bellatrix, Beatrice, Arabelle, or Mirabella? They're more unusual choices that might suit you better.

No, they are not too close. Other than them both starting with the letter B they are very different.
If you love Bella, then go with it.
