Green and I have a fishing trip date soon and I really, really hate the smell of fish.

Does the fishing trip involve going crabbing? Better give Green the heads up on that one before he notices the rustling in your undies himself. Nasty said you liked the smell and taste of fish when I interviewed her last week on Whore Island for a documentary I am producing on your life story. She also said Green would be lucky to reach your tonsils but I'm not sure what she meant.

LOL I used to be quite strong stomached too but since I had the kids I've got ridiculously pathetic! Caleb was violently projectile with his vomit the other day and I had to stop myself joining him whilst cleaning it up! I also can't put anything in my mouth anymore - by that I mean to carry things when I've run out of hands. I stuck my hairbrush in there whilst I was doing my hair the other day and nearly gagged at that, I mean FFS it was only just in my mouth!! lol

Dingelbury - in the movie "Silence of the Lambs" the FBI agents applied Vicks Vapo-Rub under their noses to quell the gag reflex when they had to examine a dead body. If it worked for them it could work for you.

I am a dental hygienist and we have to do a lot of xrays and people gag when getting those done. We tell them to open eyes real big, breathe in deeply with their nose, wiggle their toes and then the xray is done.
there is also spray you can use in the back of your throat so you don't gag as much. check out your local pharmacy
also, rinsing your mouth with listerine a bit can help

vicks vapo-rub works for me. I know it goes on your chest normally, but put some under your nose, it burns a little at first but smells good and you wont smell the fish.. I've never gone fishing, but I cook fish and it works in the kitchen

i wish i knew.. I have a terrible GAG reflex, seriously and nasty smells can set mine off too..
(BTW- the whole practicing your DEEP THROAT thing, won't work.. i;ve tried.. especially since your gag reflex is actually triggered by smell and not by..well you know)

That Green is so lucky.
Green don't like to feed fish,he just likes to eat them,so I don't think it will be a problem..
