I don't know about the exact date, but...

They were able to predict the exact day of the "Death of the Fifth Sun," which coincided with a total eclipse over Mexico City (built over the old Mayan capital).

As far as prediction of the future and the end of the world, that's just speculation.
There have been LOTS of people that have tried to set dates on the end of the world, they have all been wrong.

Being a Christian, I believe as Jesus said that no man would know when it was coming, so I'm inclined to sit back, relax, and watch others panic.

Well...something about the sun lining with the earth or I dunno, something is just supposed to happen on that day that happens every so many thousands of years. My anatomy teacher was saying that if that happens, the gravity will change and will destroy life. I can't explain it because I don't remember everything he said.

Personally, I believe the world will end when we least expect it.

People always make up dates, I just think this is another one.

The Mayans were very smart but I don't think anyone can predict the end of the world.
