I've noticed at work (and my personal life) that people tend to be more sensitve and lose their tempers quicker lately. A lot say it is the stress of the upcoming holidays, I say sit back relax and look forward to them! Some say it's the lack of sunlight, the "bad" weather, and not having a long weekend in November (for us Canadians that is).
I love Christmas and the sparkly, fluffy snow that comes at this time of the year, but even I find I'm ready for a break from people at work!
Why do you think people are so quick to anger this time of the year?

To put it simply its stress. Everyone is on edge always fighting the shopping crowds. People are having to meet deadlines because we are coming to the end of the year. Getting stuck in traffic and delayed because of snow. Some people are not even happy about having to spend so much money because of Christmas, jack up those credit cards. Not me one gift for every one this year and thats that. I also do all my Christmas shopping online and I leave for work an hour early to fight traffic and snow. Most of it is already plowed.

Deadlines = Stress = Short Tempers.

Businesses are closing out the year. Tax time is approaching. Some will marry to get the couples tax break. Christmas shopping is on us. People face demands on all their resources. Their money, their time, their attention; it just makes for a pressure cooker for some people. When ever you turn up the heat high enough something is bound to blow.

No one enjoys going broke. The mass of Christ has become a burden, manufactured by the established profiteers.
