Your Hcg is nice and high which is a good sign, if you are worried about waiting until 20th december for your next scan request another hcg test in between times. your hcg should double every 48hours with a normal healthy pregnancy. I am assuming you have had or are having problems to be scanned so early in your pregnancy. I have had many pregnancy related problems during early pregnancy and have had many many early scans and blood tests. To me everything sounds like it's ticking along quite nicely.
If it were a blighted ovum (empty sack) I don't think your hcg would be so high, when I had a pregnancy with an empty sack my hcg only reached around 600 by week 5. Keep thinking good thoughts and I hope all goes well for you xx

It is definately too early to start worrying. Most fetal poles are not seen until the 6th week of pregnancy, even with transvaginal ultrasound.

"A mass of fetal cells, separate from the yolk sac, first becomes apparent on transvaginal ultrasound just after the 6th week of gestation."

I wouldn't worry. Usually the baby isn't visible until 6 weeks, and you will see the beating heart then too. At 5 weeks 4 days my levels were 5779, so yours are totally normal, and will probably be higher than mine in2 days when you are 5 weeks 4 days.

It's normal to only see the sac at that stage of pregnancy. Usuall you need to be about a week or so farther along to see a little bean. Try not to stress. :)

Don't worry about it. I could seed anything at 7 weeks except a heart beat...
