Identical twins have identical DNA but many environmental influences throughout their lives affect which genes are switched on or off. This is called epigenetic modification.

Genetic changes due to environmental damage, replication error and more causes the DNA found in different parts of the same body to vary at an incredibly tiny degree, less than 0.0000001% in most cases...dropping a terminal A here and there, for example.

The difference between one identical twin's DNA and another is the same percent of difference between the DNA in a tissue cell from one person's leg and that same person's arm...a difference which is functionally ZERO.

For all intents and purposes identical twins (which are clones) have the same exact DNA.

If we had the capacity to extract every last bit of DNA from two individuals who were identical twins, and neither had something like cancer, we would find the collected DNA to be so completely alike that none of our current technology could pick out which pile of DNA belonged to which twin.

Technically not identical, but almost identical which can fool even an experienced DNA tester. It can only be distinguished from the other after a thorough and complete lab scrutiny.

just like two finger prints, no 2 DNA's are ever alike. so although the 2 indiivduals develop from the same cell, there are slight subtle differences in the DNA of identical twins.
