If you like turn-based RPGs, I recommend Dragon Quest VIII - Journey of the Cursed King for the PS2.
If you like action RPGs, I recommend Star Ocean - Till the End of Time and Dark Cloud 2, both for the PS2.
These are all great RPGs, enjoy!

PS2: Far too many to name. I'm a fan of the Star Ocean and Dragon Quest games though.
360: Oblivion. This game is the reason I bought my 360, and to this day it is still my favorite 360 game. There's also Mass Effect, if you enjoyed KOTOR you should like that one. I highly recommend Blue Dragon though, Its a traditional turn based RPG and it's an awsome game, with beautiful graphics. Finally, Eternal Sonata. It's also turn based, but it has a very unique combat system and a great art style.

Good Gamecube RPGs are Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles, Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door (yes, it's an RPG), and Tales of Symphonia. There weren't a whole lot of RPGs for the Gamecube.
PS2 has TONS of RPGs. Just go to gamefaqs.com, use the "platform jumper" to get to the PS2 page, and look for RPGs.

For the 360: go get Oblivion. If you like the Elder Scrolls series you'll be busy for months :) AND it's only like $20 now! Also Mass Effect is a fun RPG with a Shooter feel.

Fallout 3 and Oblivion are the two astounding "video games of the year". yet my vote must be mass consequence. Mass consequence has a romance subplot which you're able to do and it gets you 10G. Its somewhat a great pastime. Made by way of a similar people who made Kotor. That jogs my memory. i think of they have movie star Wars Knights of the previous Republic for the PS2. this is the main suitable pastime ever made. the two a sort of video games are breathtaking and supply you hours and hours of delight. So: Fallout 3, Oblivion, Mass consequence, KOTOR a million and a couple of. there you bypass.

Well its not exactly an RPG but it is most definitely the next best thing, Assassin's Creed. It's super good. There is a magnificent storyline that will keep you guessing until the end, great, great graphics and stunning AI. (The crowd actually reacts to your movements) Good Luck!!
