i am giving a friend of mines a babyshower and everything is so expensive i decided to make a few of the items instead of ordering them. i am very creative, once i'm given the right instructions. and i wanted to buy bubblegum babies but they all come in the clear box,i want to make my own favors out of the bubblegum babies. thanks!

baby showers can get expenisve mighty quick.... The diaper cake is a great idea ! I think you can find the pattern online...
I've never heard of bubblegum babies... I just went to a wedding shower and the theme was "ducks" like the yellow rubber duckies.. It just so happened that I had gotten as a gift an inflatable rubber duckie infant tub.. I never used it, so I used it to hold ALL the things we bought for the mother... I split the cost with two family members.... We made a really cute photo album with the "duckie" theme, my MIL made cloth diapers/burp cloths, and we included some washcloths, baby bath supplies and a humidifer... It looked very, very expensive... I think the total cost of everything was around $100 split 3 ways... So that's not much at all... I had included bottles that I had received but, NEVER used... Those alone were $30 along with extra parts/pieces... I filled the bottles up with colorful jellybeans and tied them together with ribbon....
You could even get plain empty hat boxes from the craft store and cover/paint them.. Use them as the "cake form" put the diapers around the hat boxes...Tie with a pretty ribbon.. Put things inside the hat boxes...Like bath items, grooming products, clothing, or whatever... That would be cute/different.

this is a very stable diaper cake! You get a lovable toddler blanket & the lotion, toddler wash, hand sanitizer and toddler wipes! Then a pacifier, socks, mitten, etc. to no longer point out each and all the diapers! WOW!! I merely had my first daughter 4 months in the past & I gained a diaper cake besides. i could spend between 50$ & sixty 5$ for the single such as you made! i think of you're very gifted!! you could be quite happy with your self!!
