I'm 35yrs old and I don't remember not watching wrestling.I remember Bobo Brazil and The Mighty Igor.Dick the Bruiser was huge where I'm from.I watched before Hulkamania.I watched WWF,AWA,NWA,UWF, Frickin GLOW man.People that thought Hogan was the man got laughed at where I'm from.Cause Ric Flair was the world champ for years before The Rock-n-Wrestling connection got started on MTV. I have seen em all come and go.
P.S. UFC will never replace wrestling but it HAS definitely replaced boxing.

I've been a fan since '94, BUT I have watched alot of matches from the late 80's I really like wrestling: the Sport of it and the entertainment. I know everyone is always saying, "UFC is real and better!" While UFC is good, I cant seem to root for one guy or the other guy. They give you no reason to cheer for anybody whereas, in professional wrestling they have mic time and characters to give you a reason to really follow a wrestler. I do think that the matches in wwe and tna should be longer though, but I still watch them all the time. So yes, I am a serious fan of wrestling.

That's a good question, there are a lot of people on here who don't know anything about wrestling and just come here to answer questions and get points.
But I do not think that the points matter, even if we did get something in return for it. I come here because I like to have discussions about it, and hear other people's opinons.
So I agree with you, that people should really know stuff about wrestling, and ask questions for things they don't know.
I like this website a lot, and hopefully people will not just come on here for points.

I am here four months...i have never bashed either anyone or anyones's fav. wrestler...
We are here to discuss events in the wrestling world, not to bash each other. Some people cannot understand that.
Even when someone disrespects me,i am cool and i don't pay attention...
People should learn to respect others's opinions..
Also,i am choosing BAs no matter if i agree or not..If the guy prove his point nicely and politely then why not giving him the BA??
cool statement

I am a serious fan of Amateur and Professional Wrestling.
However, if you look through this area, you will see a bunch of people jumping on whatever bandwagon makes them look smart, a bunch of kids making dumb posts, some making dumb posts about wrestling being "fake", some people asking the same question everyday, and constant bashing of John Cena, Batista, and Vince McMahon. There are some who are serious, but a lot you will see aren't.
