I was a raging alcoholic by age 17. Is it true that this happens to Irish people? That's what everyone tells me.
I don't drink any more.

Social drinker-- that's what I say but who knows isn't someone that drinks every other weekend an alcoholic? Dont really know but I could use 1 about now! Good for you keep up the good work!

I drank from age 12 to 17 then pretty much stopped. Now I have an occasional drink. maybe 10 drinks a year.. I'm not Irish.. lol

Not to every Irish person, but Im very Irish, and there are 10 in my family, and every single person in my immediate family DOES drink, AND there are 3 alcoholics in the family.....but not by the age of 17. I rarely drink...I dont have that urge to drink...thank goodness, cuz its definately in the family.*

Social drinker when clubbing. Not anymore though. I can have fun w/o alcohol. Lots of fun.

I am a raging alcohilic when I drink socially. Not all Irish people are like that. Don't listen to stereotypes like that.

I'd like to say I was a social drinker, but sometimes social means my dog and cats and every night...welll....! I started when I was 12, knew I had a problem by 19, but still wont admit it! : )

i was a alcoholic when i was 16-18....i worked in a kitchen and we had a 24 pack in the cooler.......every other day we had to get another case............now I'm 21 and i only ever drink 2 or 3 every other week....its beer and wine for me now.........but every now and then a nice Scotch "JW blue" on the rocks is okay
