Would they be addressed as Doctor (Dr.)? I would like to apply to some animal clinics before I start vet tech school next summer, and I want to be sure I get it right before I mail or hand them something with the wrong title.

Doctor.

Unless it's someone you know personally and have known for a long time. Then it would depend on what they prefer. I've used the same vet's office for 15 years and when they call me with test results it isn't, "This is Dr. so and so" it's usually just, "This is Rob" I still refer to them as Doctor when I speak to them or about them, out of respect for their position. But they don't seem to care one way or the other.

Yes, you would address them as Doctor (Dr.) just as you would with a human Doctor.

It is Doctor but with my own vet, it's just Bob.

Yes. Always use doctor until they themselves tell you otherwise.

Just like any other "DOCTOR." They have earned their credentials so they are due the respect.
