I Everybody has some sort of Obsessive/compulsive thing that they do, whether its about the way your hair looks, or washing each dish as it gets dirty, or handwashing, or something we are really really fussy about, and you get anxious about if it isn't done right. What's yours? One of mine might be making the bed every morning, come hell or high water. It throws my whole day off if I don't get it done, and I can't wait to get back to do it.

ndnquah I know about cupboard doors, me too. My mom used to leave them open all the time and I would go around shutting them after her. I guess I am that way because I bump my head on them!

There are certain things I have to do in a certain order, too, and if I don't it throws me off and I always forget something. Uh, maybe that's just a senior moment!

lol... organizing things, my friends can't believe it when they open my closets, or look in the pantry. I love containers... the clear ones so I can identify everything easily, they stack so nicely. I can see all my art supplies at a moments glance, to many different mediums they have to be kept in different places you know... All my seasonal shoes and handbags... Oh, I could go on and on... even my flower bulbs are kept in these containers! to funny!

I think I am 1 of the least obsessive/compulsive people in the world. I don't ever make my bed, sometimes I leave dishes on the table over nite if I'm too tired to do them,I do handwash but not to excess, I'm not fussy at all. I will drink out of my husbands glass or my kids, and I am a very calm person.I don't have any routine for washing clothes or floors, I do them when they get dirty.

I am married to an obsessive compulsive person and never thought I was but, I find myself constantly checking the alarm clock to make sure it is set to go off in the morning. If I wake up during the night , I check it again. It is a clock radio and all the buttons have to be exactly right or it won't sound . If the music button is flipped on ,I won't hear it because the volume is turned off ,so I am constantly checking it . No, I'm not compulsive.

OK how odd-I was trying to figure how how to ask this same question. I have several-One is about flossing I have to floss the bottom teeth back to front and the top teeth middle to back. I have to arrange my pillows a certain way before sleeping, several others, but my oddest was as a child when I would put the eggs from the carton onto the tray on the door of the refrigerator- They had to be placed next to "someone" different so they could meet new eggs. Hey I said I was a kid. I also had to have toast buttered all the way into each corner.

I am a bit compulsive about the number 11. Anytime I see it (i.e. if the clock reads 11:11) I have to make a wish and say a prayer. I honestly don't know why I do this, it just started when I was in high school. Weird I know.

I also have to check things numerous times to assure myself they are off (lights, stove, etc)

Scrubbing the floors and I still have to get down on my hands and knees to make sure all the dirt is up and all the corners are clean and every hair removed. A challenge with my husband losing all of his hair all over the place.

I understand the bed thing!, I'm very obsessive about what I guess some would call silly things. Used to drive my husband crazy!

when buying cleaning materials ( soap-bleach-etc) always in multiples 2 of each or more. Clothes shopping at least 2 of each , shirts, pants, suits and then they have to be tailored.Socks and underwear mininum of 30 each in case I have to pack and travel in a hurry. One of my spare bebooms is a "walk in" closet, the other one looks like a convenience store. As life goes on I notice that wrinkles also appear in pairs.
