(3x-2)^2
9x^2-12x+4

if u have a right side we can solve it

for example if the right hand side is 0, then
(3x-2)^2=0
so
3x-2=0
3x=2
x=2/3

what is this? expansion or extracting the roots?
if expansion it's 9x^2 -12x +4
if roots, it's 2/3 twice! since it's in the second degree

(3x - 2)^2
= (3x - 2) * (3x - 2)
= 3x (3x - 2) - 2(3x - 2)
= 3x*3x - 3x*2 - 2*3x -2(-2)
= 9x^2 - 6x - 6x + 4
= 9x^2 - 12x + 4

Hope that helps

(a-b)^2=a^2+b^2-2ab

(3x-2)^2=(3x)^2+(2^2)-(2*(3x)*2)
=9x^2+4-12x
=9x^2-12x+4
