It's going to cost you a lot more than they are worth.

Mopeds are not popular in the U.S.A. In fact, bikes less than 125cc are not popular in the U.S.A. so you'll have trouble finding them.

When you add in shipping charges, import duty, V.A.T., brokerage fees, S.V.A. testing and registration, you will have to sell them at a loss in order to compete with British prices.

You will NOT be able to undercut the official importers and big dealers who have had many years experience in the trade. As you have not dealt with motorcycle importation before, you will be entering a whole world of pain, I'm afraid. Don't do it...

This HP ENVY 17-2070NR is a beast of a laptop. I searched to find the newest and fastest machine, and this seems to be it. I am not a computer geek, but wanted to buy top of the line so that it will last. The look and feel of this laptop is also really good. It feels really strong and not made out of some cheap materials. It is also very simple and clean. It is a LOT better than the default windows 7 theme. The keyboard is also very well made and I love the backlighting.

OK why America as you will pay a lot more import duty. Your best bet would be to get a small salesroom and get one of the big companies to supply you direct by getting a franchise. It really is easy contact all the big boys, failing that give Stuart Rafferty a ring in York UK (raylor centre) he will be able to help you. Google his phone number

Don't bother the hurdles far outweigh any plus points. I am a bike business owner and would not consider it for a second.

Also if you want to start selling bikes then you have to offer some kind of support and back up. You will need loads of cash.

Check the specs are the same otherwise you might not sell any, DVLA has specific requirements for a moped, the low dollar might not save as much as importing from China, many wholesalers deal in US dollars.

There are already a lot of people importing Chinese mopeds etc. (of variable quality) and I doubt you'll manage to undercut them. Try googling "chinese mopeds" to see what I mean.

I work on the driving licence side of DVLA so i dont know much about the vehicles side. Your best bet is to cal DVLA Vehicle Dep. on 0870 240 0010 and they will be able to help you out.

Why ?

The U.S.A does not make any mopeds.

We have every model under the sun already.

Most are SHlTE. Dont bother mate.
