I prefer to add people that I know instead of adding someone with a nice face or body.

I only just found out what facebook was the other day. I've never been on the site. On myspace though, I have been known to add people who request it even if I do not know them. I give them a few days to see if they try to get to know me and then I will delete them if they do not.

All of the people on my Facebook friends list are people I know, some are friends, some are family. Some are people I lost touch with after leaving school so it's been great for renewing friendships. I wouldn't dream of adding a complete stranger, I see Facebook as a way of keeping in touch with people rather then a way to make "friends".

I only add people I know on facebook, the site to me is like friends reunited with bells on - you wouldn't just go adding randoms on that, would you? The only site I'd consider adding people I didn't know on was myspace, because it's geared more towards networking. I play in a band, so sometimes invite people I think would be interested in our music.

Rarely but if I had a few conversations with the person then usually I will add them if they put in a friend request. People that add me for no reason gets ignored.

No. That's usually for idiots who want to make their friend list massive. I don't see the point in that at all... congratulations, you have 9999 people on your list... oh wait, you only know 10 of them.
I prefer not to use facebook at all, it's turned into something pathetic.

I used to on myspace, but I don't on facebook, I know them all. I think facebook is more of a school/uni/work thing with the networks you can join and myspace is just to meet randoms as a lot of peeps don't set their profile to private.

But if someone asks to be my friend because they saw me in a group,then I don't turn them away.
