Can you take additional undergrad courses from the school you already have a Bachelor's degree from? How do you go about doing that? Do you have to apply again? Or can you just contact the school registrar and sign up for classes? I'm asking because I've decided I'd like to teach and I don't have an Education degree so I figured I should go take some undergrad classes in education first, then get my masters.

Do you want to teach at the high school or elementary level? If that is the case, a masters in education might prevent you from getting a job as many school districts prefer to hire teachers who don't have a masters yet (they can pay them less.) Get the Masters after you get a job. Find out what you need to get state certification in your subject area and get those classes. Some states will give you a provisional teaching certificate while you complete those classes.

If you want to teach college level, then go for the Masters as you will need at least that to teach at that level.

do you already have your BA? If so, then you will be taking graduate courses (which means you will be paying more money)

Depending on your degree you will be taking the Teaching sequence along with whatever you want to teach

each state has different requirements for becoming a teacher

Whether you can or not depends upon whether your school lets non-matriculating students sign up for classes. Some would welcome you, while others would find it problematic to have seats filled by students who were not pursuing a degree if their matriculating students needed to get into the classes. However, I am pretty sure you don't need to take undergraduate education classes in order to get your master's in education.

Talk to an adviser in the education department and find out what you need for certification. The school will have to recommend you for state certification so you need to follow their specific program.

I have done that. You need to contact the registrar of the school you want to attend and he or she will be able to give you the information you need. I had to apply.
