Maybe a C64, Amiga, SNES? Which machine do you love the most and why?

I'm having a hard time choosing between the SNES and PS2. I'll go with the SNES, because it had Final Fantasy VI (well, it was called FFIII back then), Legend of Zelda - Link to the Past, Super Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger, and Super Mario All-Stars. Some of the best games ever made, all on one console!

Ooooooh.
The first PC I ever used was a BBC B, and that was the pride and joy from 1983 until about 1990. Nothing better than Elite, Revs & Chuckie Egg!
The Amiga 500 was an excellent games machine, and the only computer I know that offered Guru Meditation. It offered cheap (ahem..) games to the masses. Supercars II etc!
I then had an Archimedes (A what?! I hear you cry). This was a computer by Acorn that was most similar to a Mac. It was extremely powerful for its day, had some great games like Chocks Away and an amazing operating system, but just too few games & users.
Console wise, oooh. SNES, N64 (for goldeneye) and the remarkable Playstation series.
Overall. Hmm. I'm going to go for Playstation. Sony came along and woke Nintendo, Atari & Sega up from their domination of the industry - they brought CD loading games to the masses & some very innovative games. It's easy to forget what they achieved with the playstation now that they are so ingrained as a console company.

Sega Mega Drive. I love it because the games are simple yet brilliant - and some of them are really quite advanced for that time. Also, you can play 2 player games really well on it, and those available are such great fun (eg sonic 2 and world of illusion)
However, I also love PS2 - if not for anything else, then for God of War 1 and 2

Playstation 2 for me. Absolutely love this console and the fact that I can play Playstation 1 games, CDs and DVDs on it.

My favorite game console of all time is the Gamecube from nintendo.I like it because it has a lot of cool games on it and the game disc is small enough to fit in your pocket. How cool is that, my favorite games on this is Zelda ( all of them).

for me the Sega Megadrive because of the good games on including Mortal Kombat, Sonic and Fifa and others

a vectrex!
it was a monochrome console with games on cartridges. All the graphics were vector graphics (lines) but it was great (at the time anyway!

a nintendo wii, because it feels like you are actually playing the real games in wii sports
