I think the Yankees will pull their head out and roll. I dont want us to give him up to the Sox and their already deadly pitching staff. Whoever picks the team as well as players wins the 10 points.

The twins will not keep him in 2008, no way...Red Sox will have to give lester and ellsbury or why should the Twins even listen....It's not like it's a washed up Randy Moss we are dealing..

Tigers.

Hey, why the hell not? Dombrowski already made a huge trade. What's one more?

In short, Sox, 3 for 1. The Red Sox don't want to give up Elsburry, but the Twins should prob. make them give them up as well as Lester (the 23 year-old southpaw that has shown huge promise) and some no-name prospect. I think the deal will go through and the Sox will give up Lester, Coco Crisp, and a minor league prospect, but keep Elsburry.

Angles and Yanks are also reportedly in the running, but the Angles don't have the prospects. I also think teams and players are sick of being pushed around by the Yanks. Hank Steinbrenner is most definitely his father's kid and his ultimatums are going to hurt his franchise in the long run. He said he wouldn't deal for Santana past his one offer. The Twins (correctly) declined the 2 for one trade including a pitching prospect Hughes (2 more development years before he really contributes) and Melky Cabrera (solid player, but will not sell tickets like Santana did and will).

I have a good feeling he is going to end up on the Red Sox.

The Twins will end up with Johan Santana and then they will lose him to free agency at the end of 2008 season to a team willing to pay for that kind of talent.

He will be a starter with the Minnesota Twins in 2008 just like he was in 2007.

I will say Santana to the Yankees for Hughes, Cabrera, and one or two prospects not currently in MLB.
