Yes, science can prove the existence of a God or a supernatural being. Many God believing (and non-believing)scientists have tried, but so far, there has not been any conclusive evidence that there is a God. This doesn't mean that in the future, there won't be conclusive evidence that a God exists.
Science cannot prove that a God doesn't exist, just like science can't prove that there is no other life in the universe. We would have to look everywhere in the entire universe to say that there is no life anywhere out there, and we would have to do the same to try to prove that there is no God; except, this still wouldn't be enough to prove that there is no God.

No. God cannot be subjected to the scientific method. Science deals with observable phenomenon. God is not observable so cannot be disproven (science cannot prove anything, only disprove using the scientific method).
vvvvv The Bible cannot be subjected to the scientific method, either. NASA has nothing to do with it. The Bible was written by men. Is it true? Maybe. Is it not true? Maybe. There's no definitive. Therefore you cannot subject it to experimentation.vvvvv
***Greg, that doesn't answer the question. Please tell me how the written work of man "proves" God?

Plaise Pascal and Josh McDowell have proved nothing at all about gods to logical men. NASA does not say anything about gods really. Some believers distort things to try to support their beliefs, but such untruths only discredit them and their beliefs. pasdcal's wager is quite illogical. If one follows it, he must pay homage to every god men have invented. Josh McDowell tries to find something to support his premature beliefs, rather than really looking at all of the evidence and going along with that. such a practice is common among beleivers. I have heard that a fairl new book explores the question you ask. I intend to buy it and read it when I have time. It looks as if scientists disprove gods more than prove them.

First of all, I am agnostic.
That question has been answered since Blaise Pascal. Believing in God is not subject to reason but to faith which mutually exclude. In addition, if God exists he is all, he is this universe and more. We are all part of God (if we believe in It). As so, we cannot test the God hypothesis. It will be a bit like trying to levitate by lifting ourself by our own belt...

Yes they can because most of the events in the bible have been fulfiled or is becoming fulfilled. NASA, has proved it many times, check it up on the website - lots of interesting stories are there.

Nothing that scientists have or command can prove of anything that so far exceeds them and their compass of understanding.

no, logic and reason can leave you with the conclusion there is no god but you can't prove it. Even if you could people's faith would continue to blind them.

Timothy 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
The Bible warns us that oppositions to God and his Word will come from "false science": The "big bang" and "evolution" are blatantly false so called "theoretical sciences" (pagan imaginations) that destroy the minds of our youth.
Psalms 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork.
The Bible makes it clear that the heavens declare the glory of God, not some accidental cosmic burp, and the firmament (earth) shows His handywork, not the accumulation of unimaginably improbable accidents over great periods of time.
Vain Imaginations
Romans 1:21-25
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
A man once said: "God created us in his image, and we returned the favor". The Bible says there will be those who profess great wisdom, but will become utter fools. Science, the great god of this day, focuses its worship on the creature, not the Creator, and all this from the vain imaginations of men.
Man's Wisdom
God has a great deal to say about man's wisdom:
1 Corinthians 1:19-28
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Yes, God says He has made man’s wisdom foolish and will destroy it. The world did not even know God when He came in the flesh due to "man's wisdom". The Bible says that God chose the foolish things of this world to confound (make bewilderingly confused) the wise of this world. Did you know God only dedicated 1 chapter out of 1189 chapters in the Bible on the creation. Such is foolishness to Him. Those that reject God's Word (as many so-called Christians have today) are turned over to a reprobate (totally depraved) mind, and the reprobate mind will be confounded by what God considers foolish, such is His will.
