I think that it is better to wrap them. Don't you remember the joy of being a child and just tearing the crap out of your gifts and leaving paper all over the floor? The floor would be full of Christmas paper like a big paper fun house. I still feel like a bit of a child when I tear into those gifts. If I am giving a single present to my boss or a friend I usually put those in gift bags, but for family situations I always wrap.

Well personally i believe in helping the world as much as possible. Though this may seem very tacky. About 3-4 months before Christmas i began saving the comic strips from the newspaper and the, I wrap all the kids presents and even some of the young adult presents in comic paper. It's always fun while unwrapping it to read and have a few laughs around the Christmas tree. Hope you like

it depends on what the gift is. If it is an odd shaped gift that you can't find a box for then a gift bag with brightly colored tissue paper is a great idea but if it is easy to wrap then I wrap it.

Depends want kinda gift you wrapping. I got my brother a ohio state pillow and wrap with tissue wrapping paper and put in a gift baby. I did the same with my two nieces since they were getting baby dolls that didn't come with a box..

this is totally a matter of taste and how you want the present to look. Some gifts are easier to put in a gift bag , for instance if you have 3 small items.
Others look nice all wrapped up in paper.
Small items like cosmetics look nice in a gift bag too.

For bigger things use the wrapping paper etc...for small things wrap them in tissue paper and use the pretty gift bags!

It depends on the kind of gift it is for me. If it is an odd shaped gift that didn't have a box a Gift bag with the Gift tissue works great. My family enjoys opening them either way.

For children, wrapping is good. They seem to have as much fun tearing open the wrapping as they do playing with the actual gift.
For adults, either is fine. I'm kind of partial to the gift bag, myself, because I can save it and give it to someone else later.

I do both. It depends on the present and what I have. I try to save boxes and bags. I try to save the wrapping paper from last year to reuse (if it's in good condition, of course).
