If a guy has a prosthetic arm, would it be possible for him to play Guitar Hero III? What do you think?

Is it worth spending the money?

He would have to play left-handed...

He probably wouldn't be able to hold it, but he may be able to lay it on his lap, use his good hand to hold the color buttons, and use the prosthetic to "strum" it (I don't know the name of the buttons, heh). I think he should try it out in Best Buy or Toys R Us or wherever they have demos before purchasing it.

Left handed? Then I suppose so. He would only have to move the prosthetic arm up and down. Some stores have display thingies where you can try out guitar hero (Off the top of my head, Wal-Mart, Gamestop, and Hastings have all done it before. I think Hastings and Wal-Mart still do it) So he could try going up there and seeing if he can play it.

I don't know if it would actually be fun to play that way. He should definitely try it out first.

Edit: Also, to the first response: You don't have to hold Guitar Hero controllers. They come with a shoulder strap.

I agree with the others. If he has a fake arm then maybe he could play the easy difficulty. But with a controller Im sure he could play all the way up to hard. Go to YouTube.com and look for some videos about this topic. Im sure theres something that prove its possible. It just take a little time and effort to perfect it.

Just hold it the same way you do on Medium and Easy but you have to shift your hand up and down the frets because there are five and you have four fingers to play with, it's more like a real guitar on Hard.
