"when a child is born" - johnny mathis.

why?

because it is so full of hope. every parent has that hope for their child "a child that will grow up and turn hate to love, war to peace, everyone to everyone's neighbour, and suffering and misery will be words to be forgotten, forever...."

White Christmas. It is the one song that just FEELS like christmas to me. I could listen to it in the middle of July and get in the holiday spirit.

Oh Holy Night. It is one of the most beautiful Christmas songs ever, and it is about the real meaning of Christmas, Jesus Christ, not Santa Claus, etc.

One of the newer ones I really like is the one by Kelly Clarkson, I think it might be called "My grown up Christmas list".

Carole of the Bells.
I love the power in the singing and it just fills me with energy to keep going. I think it is because I grew up in Germany and would wake up to the sound of church bells. On Christmas the bells where magical!

O Holy Night.
And that's although I'm really not religious.
There's just something about the tune and the mood of the song that's absolutely magical to me.
