I am desperately seeking a Spiderman movie that is suitable for a 3 year old. Spiderman and Friends maybe?

The Spiderman and Friends would be a good choice for a younder child. They were aimed towards the "pre-teen" group. The ones with Iceman and Firestar.

Also, if you can find any of the 1960 cartoon series, with the "Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman" theme, those are good ones to start with. They have the innocence that was still found in comics and cartoons at that time. They would be good for a three year old.

The problem with this starts with the parents. Maybe you should have looked at these movies before you let him start watching them. They're not bad movies. Superheroes are a part of a young person's life. Who did not want to grow up to be Superman? the thing is these movies are FANTASY, not reality. Marvel and DC comics both produce children-friedly versions, Teen Titans is a good show for that age level. Take a look around and see what you can find that will please him. Maybe if you wanted to take an extra step into making something out of your child, you could introduce him to comic books and get him to begin learning to read. It might seem like a big step, but he would probably be interested in it. Once again, both of those major comic book companies produce many kid-friendly versions of popular books. I know it's hard but try being a parent and think on your feet. It will be better for you and your kid in the long run.

i think you should get him the pg-13 ones. they are pg-13 for a reason, but those are reasons he won't understand
