The BBC have this story years after the ch4 documentary Edge of the City which showed Asian men grooming children for prostitution was not shown as it thought it may cause racial tensions. How many children where abused in the mean time ?

Billybon - good point but the reason I used the term Asian, was becuase had I have said Pakastani I would have got loads of of answers saying they were born here there british, if I said Muslim people would say whats religion got to do with it ?. However the grooming is race spercific.
Badgers, Thanks for your link, I dont know how the Swedish system would work as if you read the peice I dont know if the groomers are actually selling the girls. It seems to be more of a pedophile ring between friends and family rather than traditional prositution.

I'm sick of this racial tension $hit why should they not be allowed to show this just because of the colour of the perverts skin!
It should be shown so everyone can see what scum they are and hopefully caught.

I say it shouldn't matter what race these perverts are, this kind of program needs to be shown! As you so rightly say, 'How many other girls have been abused?' in the name of racial harmony!
If 'Emma' had seen the original program perhaps she'd have recognised what was happening before it was too late for her. As a Mother I tried to warn my daughter of the dangers out there, but it helps when you know what the dangers are. I'm not racially prejudist and it horrifies me to think that my daughter knowing I wasn't might have met this kind of pervert! Like me she finds Asian men physically attractive!
Come on Powers that Be, stop worrying about what might happen and start concentrating on what IS!

I think you find that the vast majority of prostitution is now controlled by the Albanians in the south of England but I think the north is predominantly controlled by young Asian men

recent cases in blackburn show that some asian men have a penchant for young white girls...especially the ones underage and vulnerable...in fact a cricketer is on trial in the area as we speak for the same offences...hes 39..and filmed part of the assault on his mobile...but this case is just the tip of the iceberg in this area

When they're caught doing this for the first time - chemical castration ! We are'nt allowed to do what i would like to do to them but it would only take one or two well publicised court cases with a chemical castration punishment to make them all start running with their 'tails' between their legs!

Lets be clear that when they say Asian men they really mean young Muslims (pakistanis) and not hindus or sikhs. A minority of young muslims but muslims nevertheless.
They have had to clam up about this obviously. Thanks for drawing our attention to these linked articles.

Who holds the police back from prosecuting who stops these crimes being brought to the public attention. they want to keep so called racial harmony they claim.they have their perversions as well.You know who they are you vote for them.I used to live with a victim nearly became one myself.

You know... Nature has a habit of getting rid of what It does not like.
Dinosaurs were one those things whatever the reason was then but there must have been one.. Another was the increase of promiscuity amongst men and women, and men and men and women and women... so AIDS came along and took care of that way of life.
I am not even talking God here... God set things rolling.... God left Nature in charge perhaps.... Nature.... wants children to grow up in a safe environment... Nature wants children to be children for as long as Nature so dictates.
If we continue with this trend of filthy "sexual abuse of children".... or even the SO-CALLED sex education in schools which in my view is another form of child sex abuse (for a start is robs children of their right to innocence) GOD ONLY KNOWS what NATURE will do to so put a stop to what we keep doing to our own children.
