I've made the typical gingerbread house from a kit for several years. Are there any unique kits out there that are not so traditional? Like one of a castle or larger different shaped house. I know I could make my own gingerbread and all that but I rather not go through all that hassle. A pre-made kit would be much more convenient. Can anyone help?

I've seen a gingerbread train at Target.

You could also buy two kits and use the pieces to expand, or use graham crackers to supplement your base.

I use the kits too, but I embellish with my own decorations - I hardly use any of the candy they provide. I've got M&Ms on the roof, Dots along the top, Red Vines on the edges, Skittles on the windows, and marshmellow Peep trees and snowmen in the yard, Andes mint doormats, Almond Roca logs and Rochet bushes. The only candy I used from the kit were gumballs to line the walk.

Graham wafers/crackers are sturdy progression fabric, there's a recipe accessible for a house progression fabric made out of peanut butter, brown sugar and an egg. you mix it nicely, placed it in a huge cookie sheet and flatten it out and bake it. It is going rock frustrating yet is tasty... I suggested the recipe on a previous mail. yet any nut hypersensitive reaction victims might want to could be warned - to heck with it use graham crackers! you may continuously make a rolled sugar cookie dough too. I made a gingerbread village with 5 diverse kinds of dough and a cake - excitement of cooking - Eggless, Milkless, all Rye Honey cake change into large to make the lighthouse - I did a sea coast village with lighthouse, church, village, pier and a tow boat pulling a barge with Santa's presents on it.

Step one - understand this is something a woman should do.

Step two - Write email telling your girlfriend what you want and give her instructions on what to do in clear detail.

Step three- Email said girlfriend.

Step four- Follow up via email until she has completed this gingerbread task for you.

Actually I've seen different things at Michael's (maybe even WalMart, I don't remember). I can't think off the top of my head what they are, but I remember thinking "Well that's certainly different!"
Good luck.
