yes , but just the term light on and nobodies home is interesting , think about it , why when we go away do we leave our lights on??It is a protective measure.That way while we are gone nobody invades our home,our personal space.So maybe to those people you speak of it is a defense mechanism.they shut down certain areas of their thinking so they don't have to recall painful events.And while their mumbo jumbo makes no sense to us it makes perfect sense to them.Have you seen Adam Sandler's Reign over me?? if not watch and see how he handles his devastating news.It will make much more sense to you of why some people are the way they are.

I get what you're saying.
I look to see what they choose to speak of.
If they talk about ideas or concepts, I can tell they are quite intelligent. They can think.
If they choose to talk about people, they are of average intellect.
If things, they're not quite off the runway yet.
There is always a way to lift a person up to where they are "home."

Definitely! So many people don't listen anymore, they are too busy thinking about what they want to say, instead of what you are saying. Or they are just a lot like Cousin Eddie in "Christmas Vacation". Lovable but they haven't got a clue.

Yeah defo! But I have found over the years that people who did extremely well at school are as thick as S**t when it comes to common sense and people who were not so academic are very street wise!

YES! Alot...especially since I'm a waitress...I dela with these people 8 hours a day...5 days a week...u talk to them and noone is home..makes me feel weird...

omg yes....everyday just about. I have asked if their elevators goes to the top floor do the doors open?? I grow weary of the odd ones at times.
