What would you be doing for your religious festivals that are around this time? Aren't Hanukkah and Diwali around now? How do you celebrate them?

Christmas Eve going to friends for tamales and lots of cookies. Then it's midnight mass, our priest has the most beautiful Christmas services. Christmas, our son and grandchildren come for ham and potatoe salad. Again lots of cookies and other goodies. Every year we buy a new game and we spend the evening playing that years game.
