.. and watching the flocks and flocks of them fly along south in perfect symmetry.. who is leading them? how do they manage to survive, and sustain themselves in a daily pattern?how does a mother turtle know she needs to hide her nest under the sand so that predators in the wild wont seek it as prey?
..schools of salmon swimming along the rivers visible to the human eyes a wonderful scene as awesome as how do they know it's time for them to go back to the seas on the fall?
instincts maybe? to me it has to be more than that, so mysterious that only concretize more my belief there is that one Divine Organizer of all these patterns, that putting it all together all fit in the big picture so big that the human mind is so minute to comprehend..

Peace to you.
All of us look at the radiance that surrounds us and try to make sense of it. Our culture, family, education and desire form our perspective of how we view this radiance.
Essentially no one fully understands the nature of our existence. There is an ancient saying that goes, "The one who says he knows, does not know. The one who says he does not know, knows." We all form ideas about who or what God is but the fact is, according to most all Holy text, we do not have the capacity to comprehend the awesome nature of God. Some think he is a man like figure, sitting on a chair, making decisions. With a thought process similar to our own. Some think he is the non-differentiated field that responds to our ego / consciousness. Whether one of these is true, both are true or neither is true I cannot say. For me he is in and of all things, he encompasses all things and nothing that I experience is outside of his radiant light.
Fundamental to my belief is that I do not hold the absolute truth. Therefore your perspective on God is just as valid as mine. I do look for the things that are common to all religions and there is plenty. There are enough people that look for and exploit the differences. I prefer to exploit the things we have in common.
When we think we know the absolute truth and are satisfied that our understanding is complete then we stop learning. This is against the very nature of the infinite. If God is infinite how may any concept or idea of who he is be complete? It is the nature of the infinite that writes the never ending story of life. Diversity is the only absolute thing that the creation has in common with itself.
Therefore, just because another has a different belief or perspective then mine does not make him an unbeliever.
Blessings and peace to all,
All in all,
B

Science and religion continue to battle for the hearts and minds of the world. It's too bad that people are so capable of thinking and feeling for themselves. If you want people to acknowledge god, then help them understand why they should. Not why you think they should, why they should.

I think you need to slow down and use the spellchecker.
It's easy to accept the concept of God and then run around telling other people that they are silly and ignorant to not accept God too.
Some people actually use their brains, rather than accepting what other people tell them.

How strange that of all the possibilities available, anyone would just choose God without any evidence or investigation.

Why is this question in philosophy? It has nothing to do with it. It is about ancient myths and legions. I suggest you post under that section or R&S and leave philosophy for those who seek the truth.
