I drove up from New York to the Cape Cod area. I arrived after dark and the last 40 minutes of driving it was very stormy out. I saw no cars on the road and the signs were blowing real hard so I took a turnoff and up a road to a large hotel on the bluff above. I went inside and everyone looked at me like I was in the Twilight Zone. Turns out I was in the middle of a hurricane and I didn't even know it. People thought I was crazy driving around. The hotel restaurant was closed. Everything was closed and I was hungry so I was very surprised that the hotel clerk said the only food available was pizza delivery. I said What? during a Hurricane? Anyway I had my first delivered pizza to my hotel room.

Yes, I have, a couple of times, both working for Domino's oddly enough. (not counting the person from Pizza Hut once--the individual totally sounded female on the phone and showed up a dude...it took me some doing to keep a straight face, pay the person and send him on his way....)

yes, lots of times.
for some reason pizza always tastes better in a hotel than it does at home.
at least it does to me.

You can have it delivered to the hotel but you'll generally have to receive it at the front desk or arrange for it to be brought to your room. Hotels don't take kindly to strangers wandering about the property.

Oh yeah. In fact they usually have a list of the closest pizza dleiveries right there in the room.

Yes, this last summer traveling from CT to AR. Stopped in PA and didn't feel like going out, so we ordered Pizza Hut and they delivered. :)

If my husband was with me- which would be the only reason for going to a hotel. Not alone- there are whack jobs and stories on 20/20 - hecks no!

Once when I was staying at this cheesy motel, I think it was a cheesy pizza.
