living with my other half drove me to distraction, but then we're not together any more so I'm hoping that when I meet my Mr Darcy that we'll have a riot and not be fighting over who washes the dishes/puts the bin out/cooks tea!!! Me and my ex both worked full time yet he still expected me to cook every night and make a huge deal about washing dishes which meant me being the soft b*tch ended up doing them as well!! i look back and think what a looser!!!!

I think living together is a better arrangement. It is unrealistic that a woman should be in the kitchen 24/7. Any guy who thinks this will be lonely for the rest of his life.

Because some men AND women still have the mentality of Fred Flintstone or Betty Rubble.
Let the caveman moan... if you jump up and whine, but go do it anyway, the cycle will never stop. Let Fred make a fool of himself. As soon as he realizes it is not working, he will change.

that sounds like a generalization. I love being in my kitchen by the way i like classic roles for men and woman. I love cooking and cleaning the house it makes me feel really good about myself. I also have a full time job and work over time, but when we have kids I'll go back to being a stay at home

Because you choose to get yourself into that situation. If there's comunication you could make an agreement before going to live together. If you just cross your arms and sit down to think about why your life is that way and do nothing to change it, you will get easily frustrated. Not every men are the same, they are humans, but a big part of them are raised to be "machos" because that's what our society has transfered to us.

No men and women are not designed to live together. If you value your relationship don't get married and don't move in or it will destroy it. You can sleep over once in a while or go on trips but living together is a nightmare!!!

does he drag his knuckles along the ground and go ug when he wants food? or drag you by the hair into the bedroom grunting when he wants sex? sounds like the guy still lives in a cave!
you got the wrong man, thats all i can say. i do more of the cooking and cleaning than my fiancee and i dont mind.
make him cook his own food for a change, go out a couple of nights a week and have a but of fun, failing that trade him in for a new model!

Maybe because 99% of men believe that's where a woman should be!!Which is completely wrong! But then again my man's not like that!!
Me and my man get on really well,we're best mates, lovers, we have fun, he cooks and cleans as much as I do!Bless him!
Find a good man hun....I'm sure there's 1 decent man left out there

Men and women are at their best when they co-exist. It's just how we were designed. I don't think you have issues with men in general. Maybe you should communicate to him, what you posted on Y/A.
