I guess that would be her choice if she wanted to do that . but being as she is married maybe the husband should have questioned her or made his feelings known before they got married . good luck and god bless.

If that is what is really important to her then she is right because she is being honest with herself first and foremost and then she is being up-front with any potential mates. Some men will go ahead and marry a woman like that thinking that once they are together then he can assert his influence on her to have kids and compromise. Be wary of this. Make sure the man or woman truly understands your goals, and that you aren't willing to compromise yourself for anything else.

Look girl, the word B I T C H means the following:
B - Beautiful
I - Intelligent
T - Talented
C - Charming
H - Heart (altho I prefer horny LOL)
An ambitious woman was never a criminal offense. A happy wife has a happy husband. An unhappy wife has a miserable husband. Ergo - an unhappy home. She should be allowed to follow her heart.

As long as she talks to her husband about not having kids before the marriage and didn't lead him on to believe she would have children, got married, then said no. Then yes, she is right to put a carreer first. Nothing wrong with being stable financially and then having kids.

she isn't necessarily right, but ITS HER RIGHT. My hubby knows that im not planning on having kids for at least 5 mor years AFTER i get my degree and explore my career. He's supportive and understanding. I think we all should be ambitious but there's a way to communicate that to our partner and get married without giving up your goals. You dont wanna end up lonely

If it's right for her, than it's right for her...
If she hooks with a guy that thinks otherwise, they're doomed without communication.
Too many people rush into getting married, having kids without having any idea of what they really want to do with their lives. People like her at least seem to have a clue.

An ambitious woman has both ... sometimes she achieves her dreams later in life... You only have so many child bearing years!

being ambitious is not a crime, it only becomes one when taken to extreme, if her decision not to have kids until she achieve her goal is ok by her husband then fine.

Sure, we all have our dreams in life and that shouldnt relfect on what we want. The husband should stick beside her if she does get married. and if not then there isnt nothing wrong with that either.. to each their own.
