Your PC currently has only 512 mb of RAM, with part of it being used by the video card (thus the 446 mb number).

Increasing your RAM will make everything on the computer (including the video) faster. You should at least double it to 1 gig.

Since video cards usually use part of your RAM, replacing the video card with one that uses more RAM when you have only 512 would probably SLOW your system, not improve it.

But you did not state what issues you were having, or why you feel the need to replace either the RAM or the card, so it is hard to say for sure....

Why?

Do you use a consumer anti-virus such as Norton/PC-Cillen, McAfee ur equivalent? if so you need RAM.

Are you a Gamer? if so you need both.

Do you want to do Photo editing and Video editing? If so you need RAM and a video upgrade would be nice.

Do you have an anti-virus such as AVG and just surf the Internet? If so you need a software cleanup to speed your computer up.

I hope this helps but without some details of what you want the question is like should I put diesel or propane in my car? The answer could be GAsoline but I don't know for sure if I dont know what you want to do. A larger faster HDD may be the answer .

These days, 446mb ram isn't much. I have 1gb, and now I need more for one of the games I just bought. (I can upgrade to 3gb. I also have a presario, but mine was custom built by Compaq.)

The graphics card sounds like it should be a good one, but I'm not an expert.

neither its a bug with windows 7. you hardware wasn't designed to work with windows 7 so it runs slower. look for software drivers and wait till windows 7 is released. if you feel that you NEED to buy something I'd go with Ram 2gb is borereline between normal and good

It's depend from you actually if you only use it to surf or typing adding a 1 GB RAM is more than enough but if you like to use this computer to play games than I sugest to upgrade both

What problems are you having? It sounds as if you may not be able to stream stuff with both your ram and your video card. I hate to say to get both, but if you have ever tried to watch the news or youtube and really can't then get both.

With 512 MB you will notice your PC slowing down after a while (that's Windows XP for you). I think 1 GB is becoming the new standard.

More RAM first of all, then you could maybe think about the video card, the hard drive is a bit small too.
