I have a book published in 1877. If I want to sell it how much do you think I can get? The book is written with Cyrillic letters.

Is a religion book. It contains prayers & verses of the Bible. I don't really know what exactly contains because I don't know the Cyrillic alphabet.

It would be helpful to know which book it is! Maybe you could give us some more details, such as author, publisher, any other information given apart from just the year of publishing.

Try looking at bookstores that specialise in antique, collectable or limited edition books. Also, it's always worth a look on sites such as ebay; if other sellers are listing that or similar books it may give you an indication of monetary worth. I have a fair few books dating back a century or two, and their values vary greatly, so the more research you can do, the better. You never know, it may even be something that a book collector like myself would be interested in purchasing. Good luck with your research.

It depends alot on the popularity of the book (in 1877) and the current condition. The Cyrillic is unique. Best way to find out is to get it appraised.

I'm guessing the author is dead? If the author is dead then something like a book, picture, autograph ect... becomes more valuable. Since it was published in 1903 it could be. It also depends how popular the book is. If it is well known and many people have copies, not that much. If it is not very well known but it is considered a classic or is wanted then it is worth a great deal.

It all depends on the demand for the book. If it's something rare and in demand, the price can be great. If it's rare but not in demand, it's not worth much.

Your best bet is to have it appraised. If there's a used book store in your area, take it there. They may be able to give you an idea of the value, or tell you where to go to have it appraised. There may be a fee to have it appraised, too, but it's probably only a few dollars.

Possibly. Try abebooks.com or alibris.com for an idea of the price it is selling at.
