I would just like to know what is going to happen to florida in 10-20 years because I was really looking foward on moving there soon but now ive been hearing about global warming, over populated, cuban, mexicans all over, high crime there and is getting worse? When did this happen to the nicest state in the USA? Well it was. Well i still want to live there but is just now picky where I am going to live so please give me some good, long detailed anwsers where to or what it is like there now because i would really like to know! Thank you!

Global warming won't be a problem in the next 20 years. However, as first responder correctly notes, water supply will be. Still, if you don't mind the heat, humidity, hurricanes, and bugs, it is an okay place to be; the tax situation is favorable.

Even if melting glaciers do not put most of Florida underwater, it will still be running into fresh water supply problems in the near future, as development continues to outpace resources.

I hear that the price of everything has gone sky high especially since Hurricane Wilma came storming through.
