Pretty good system, despite what some may say it's quite powerful enough for most gaming purposes (and probably about as good for gaming as a system that portable can be) and the 14 inch screen size is about the best compromise for most purposes IMHO with enough size for good ergonomics and decent power but also small enough to be convenient to carry.

If you don't need really long battery life and want a smaller laptop you would be better off with the 6 cell battery (but if you need battery life the 9 cell is better, I was often annoyed at low battery run time in school although now I don't really use the battery in my laptop much).

pretty powerful setup, but the bottleneck will be at the graphic card, but this wouldn't be a problem if u dun game much

if u re looking for a 14.1" gaming laptop, i suggest u take a look at BenQ's Joybook S41... imho it has the best balance between power and mobility... basically the same setup as the Dell, but cpu is T7100 and graphic card is a GeForce 8600M GS, the most powerful card that can fit in a 14.1" laptop
