You propose will he enhance taxes? Yup. Will he initiate a sparkling conflict in north west Pakistan? probable. Will he pray approximately all his important judgements? actual. Will he sound like an fool on television? Nope, Bush will constantly carry that franchise. considering that Obama will not be able to triumph over Huckabee, ideal now it sounds as though like George W. would be handing off the visit him next January.

No, Huckabee is an honest man of principle. If religion weren't so entwined with politics now, I don't think he would mention it. In fact, he doesn't seem to mention religion unless he is asked.
I think he is a quick study, and would figure out Washington well enough and soon enough. No one is fully prepared to run the country, it is a unique job with a steep learning curve. Honesty and flexibility matter. Huckabee has both.

Bush is a Christian for show.......it got him elected......remember the rational Republican candidate from 2000? (Straight Talking McCain) Huckabee is a the actual version of what Bush claimed to be....no evolution, no stem cell research, no gay marriage, etc. He's honest in that he's not lying about his positions, but at the same time, acceptance of things like evolution are somewhat critical in this ever faster changing world. Also, a super-religious Christian is not what we need in office at a time when many Muslims in the Middle East see the West and American as the 'Empire of Evil' due to our current President's absolute hypocrisy regarding Christian values.

The GOP campaign has come down to whether Mitt or Huck is the 'real Christian'. Two people can't be right about the same thing, but it's possible for both to be wrong. This is why the Founders wanted a considerable distance between the state and the various 'churches'. The arguments should be focused on what's right for the citizens of the United States...as 'Jesus' isn't an american citizen why He gets so much attention needs a lot of explaining. I'm voting for Sen. Obama......the less religious baggage the better!

I don't know much about Huckabee, but from what I've seen and heard, I think it's a gross misjudgment to compare him to George W. Bush on any level. Huckabee appears to be genuine, honest, sincere, and intelligent...
none of which attributes can be applied to Bush.
And to call anyone a 'freakoid Christian' is simply uncalled for, rude, and indicative of your own twisted and demented lack of ethics or intelligence. I don't know what religion you practice, but I think it would be unfair and just as crude to call you a 'freakoid' Muslim, Jew, Hindu, agnostic or atheist. It's too bad this forum can't be limited to mature, intelligent adults. Grow up and stop your juvenile, childish, immature name-calling just because you have nothing intelligent to say. -RKO- 12/05/07

Huckabee is a Cristian, which means he has a moral base, and not a hate monger like you.

If I had my choice, I'd support a moral freakoid over an immoral freakoid like either of the Clintons on any day.

I don't know if he's a "freakoid Christian" but i'm not ready to have an ordained minister run the country.
What would his title be anyway? Pastor President Huckapee (or) President Pastor Huckapee?

I dare say he knows a whole lot more than the questioner. Is name-calling absolutely necessary? Try asking a question w/o a slur. You'll be taken more seriously.
