The sad thing is they won a world series behind that crap. The only reason they got there is because of Carmona and Sabathia's in experience and of course a injured Anaheim team who would have no doubt had a better showing at full strength. The Yankees provided they don't do anything stupid will win the division in 08' . Without late season injuries they would have won it last year.Redsox consider yourselves lucky until Manny and Ortiz and The guy that looks like a plumber(Kevin Youkilis) have another lovers spat.

Ummm...what are you talking about? They also had Lowell and Pedroia hitting over .300 with Lowell leading the team in RBIs...it wasn't Carmona and Sabathia's inexperience it was the fact that Boston was the better team...just deal with the fact that the Sox won the World Series because they were the best team...and right now I would say the Yankees would have to do something amazing to get to the level of the Sox team next year.

You can say what you want to say the fact of the matter is that the Sox are the World Series Champs......The real truth is that GOOD PITCHING will stop good hitting.....ok and yes I think that if the Yankees did not have all those injuires and a slow start we might have seen a differnet outcome in the play offs but dont think that the Red Sox line up is just David Ortiz Kevin Youkilis and Manny Ramirez......What about Jacoby Ellsbury J.D. Drew Dustin Pedroia Mike Lowell Julio Lugo Jason Varitek....the fact is they have a good team up and down the line up....Yankees still have a good team and it will be an interesting season but the fact is that boston won the series and they are looking to defend it looks like they are getting santana and if they get him that rotation will be very very dangerous and very stacked

I think your perception of that team is disjointed.

The whole team is great. Takes a whole team to win a world series.

As far as the yanks go, their pitching sucked.

I'm a tribe fan and carmona and sabathia got the deer in the headlights look and didn't pitch well a second time thru. They'll all be back next year, everyone is resigned.

The Yankees lineup is better? They sure came up small when it mattered again. I would rather have the Sox lineup than the Yankees. I would rather have the Sox pitching Staff and Bullpen. I would rather have the Sox GM.

They are just a better team, and if they get Johan, it is over.

Cry me a flowing* river.

Want "late season injuries", how about Manny missing most of September?

Real baseball fans are looking ahead to 2008, not rehashing losing efforts in 2007.

* Not really "flowing".

it is sad how you yankee fans keep on crying. i think our lineup was far better than yours. and by the way the yankee pitching sucked last year and looks like it will suck again.
