I figured that out but now since having that done my husband can't connect wirelessly from his XBox. Is there a way that I can still have my laptop secure and for him to use his XBox?

yes the thing is wpa psk is really secure for your laptop and i use
it for mine, but the problem is that xbox 360 only supports wep
encryption which I dont understand because wep is very unsecure , so I am afraid if you want the xbox to connect ,you
have to use wep, but I dont support that idea , I think in the future
xbox will have an update on xbox live to support wpa.

Without knowing what you set up for security, it is hard to guess. But if all you did was to set up a WEP or WPA password, then you should only have to enter the password into the XBox durings its set up.

If you did more then just set up a password, detail what you did and we can help adjust....

You will need to input all of the settings you created in your router, to the XBOX360, including SSID, passwords, etc.
