But now I have been offered another part time job at a McDonalds in the next town. The two stores have different owners. I want both part time jobs. It is better than working more hours at one place because of some reasons. Do I need to tell my manager at the first place that I am going to work at the second place? The manager at the second place already knows I work at the first place. But I am afraid the manager at the first place might really get mad. He has a bad temper. One time when I got to work just two minutes late he called me two or more bad words and he threatened to frighten me. Oh, whatever shall I do?

Skip the first job; why would you want to work with someone who gets mad and threatens you? If you still want that 2nd job, try a different McDonald's.

1. Working close to home of course would save on transportation costs...gas for your car.
2. What kind of a boss/manager would call his/her employees nasty names and threaten them? Sounds like a lose cannon. Do you really want to work for such a person?
3. What kind of personality does the manager in the next town have? What do his employees say/think of him/her?
4. How can you work it out that you are available for both part time jobs? Isn't there the possibility that you are required to be more flexible and available as a part time employee?
5. Hurray for your efforts in securing employment.
6. If you are a teenager and don't need to live off your income, then you have a better chance of choosing the better job because you are still at home with your folks.
Think about your job situation carefully before you make any decision, and good luck to you.

lol I wouldn't care about the first job if you have a manager like that. I would quit. I use to work at Mcdonalds for about year but then quit cuz the owner was really mean and use to work with us and breathe down our backs when we were working. Most Mcdonalds will let you work long hours cuz the more hours you work the easier it is on the owners.

Hmm.. Where do you live? Because my friend turned 14 in September and has a job at McDonalds but that is in Brisbane.

Don't work for any manager that treats you badly. If the second one is decent, go with that one.

The first one will probably be a **** if he has to schedule you around the other store's schedule.

Any co-workers who put up with the first one will likely be influenced by his negativity; the second one will likely have a better staff morale and camaraderie, too.
