Someone already mentioned curiosity - yes that is also my motivation. If I didn't know that anything can happen anytime, and be curious of what the next day brings - I'd be dead. But as for my destination... Everybody's destination is the grave - it's the journey that counts. I already have a family and a home and even the beginnings of a career, but I also have a perpetual need for change and challenge, so I feel incapable of settling down into a life of comfort. It's all an adventure.

I'm aiming for the top, to be the highest I can possibly be. I'm heading for somewhere where I can make a difference - where people will trust me enough so I can help.
All I have to do is look around at the state of the world, at the people who need help and I feel again, even more strongly how much I want to meet my destination (like Oprah Winfrey) and help how I can.

I want to be a scholar, but I don't know what field I want to pursue yet. I want to get a university job or something similar and advance human knowledge. Ultimately I suppose it's the knowledge of my mortality and my drive to somehow live forever that's motivating me. On a less grand scheme, I'm a curious nerd who can read fairly quickly.

My main motivation is curiosity. I am curious to see where I'm going to end up. I am curious to see what my kids will be like when they are older. I wish I could be alive to see how the human race ends up and find out who got it right or wrong. I'm really just curious.
