When I really want to check my e-mail, yes it drives me crazy. I feel ya on the darn cable company......sometimes mine connection comes and goes and of course when you call 'em, they say everything on their end is just fine.....when it can't be...because you can't get on the darn 'net....otherwise you wouldn't be calling them!

I had trouble one time, but it was the computer not the Internet Service Provider. I must have had a virus that changed my settings, and I had to reset them. I was OK after that, but I quick to blame the provider.

It makes me want to throw stuff. Sometimes I do. The worst thing is that there's not much you can do. I ring up the VERY EXPENSIVE hotline and they put me on hold until I finally get to speak to somebody incompetent who tells me to turn on the computer or something equally unhelpful.
