I'm having problems with prank callers at the moment. Looking to go to police. Is there anyone that works for T-mobile or Orange who can tell me whether all calls are recorded. I'm thinking this should help as they can trace whoever registered the phone, even though they probably used fake details. How long are the recordings kept? I'm at my whits end. Is there also a way of telling where these people are when they make the call or send texts? Please help.......

calls aren't recorded unless a trace is put on the line, it is a lot harder to track the calls if they are made from Mobile's that are not registered, what you can do is change your number and also ask your phone supplier if they have a system called chose to refuse, that can block calls when you don't have the person's number who's calling you, all you have to do is enter a code after the person has called you, also talk to your phone supplier as they will have a nuisance calls department hope this helps

I don't orange or t-mobile record YOUR phone calls but they record all that are made to them. If you get the police involved they can track down who the phone is registed too.. They can check how many phone calls have been made to your number and when and for how long. Prank calls aer horrible. I would suggest contacting the police. Good luck!

It would be illegal for calls to be recorded without your permission.
