Main risk:If ingested you will live.
Food is also food for bacteria. Preservation needed.
A kilo of rice requires 2000 litres water to grow.
Rice fields lead to emission of methane with a very high green house effect.

you mean risks like:
choking on food, or
spilling food on someone/ something, or
getting burned with hot food, or
drowning in food (OK, that one's got long odds on it) or
eating poisonous food (bad choice of mushrooms, fish, etc)
eating toxic food (spoiled, badly stored, toxic fungi in peanuts)
or
losing on a food fight?
from my personal experience- the main risk is not having enough food.
