Is Britney Spears The Worst Mother Ever?

Question

I think she got married too young to Kloser, had children too soon and didn't realize how much work they are. I think she parties and drinks all the time after she leaves the kids with nannies. I think her children should be given to someone who will love them and will raise them well. She is a mess! Opinions?

I think the paparazzi needs to lay off and stop following her everywhere which only makes the problem worse. Opinions?

Her kids aren't dead, malnourished or sick, shes a typical first time parent - she may have had them too close together but shes not as bad as the ones you hear about on the news drowning and killing the kids....

Giver her a break they are still young enough not to have any real emotional baggage from the "weird years"

Not to mention she has enough money to pay for therapy.

By the way staying home, reading parenting books, making cookies and handing out hugs doesn't make you a better parent, just a more patient one.

Ok, she is not mother of the year but I would not say the worst ever. There are mothers in the news everyday who have tortured, humiliated, neglected or left their kids. THEY are bad mothers. I don't think we can say Britney does not love her kids - I'm sure she does. She has made mistakes and needs to fix them. I agree her kids should be in a more structured environment until Britney is ready to take on the task of motherhood. At least her kids do not have to starve, be beaten or abused like many others in the world right now.At least they have love around them.

I don't think she's the WORST mother ever, but she really does not seem to have that mother gene.

I think if she would wear some panties more often and stayed home with her children more, she wouldn't be fodder for the paparazzi: she makes a spectacle out of herself with no one's help.

While I understand where you are coming from in this. I don't think this is a question of love for her children. As anyone knows who has children molther hood, whilst wonderful is a massive guilt trip. I think that she was going through post natal depression but in a very public way. Yes I think that she needs to clean up her act but she needs a lot of help in the process. The childrens safety is always paramount but after that she needs to be left alone to sought herself out

i think ur rite about the wasnt ready and too much work bit. but she has a right. from the begining she wanted to be the the sexy pop princess. but now that she has custody battle, paparazzi, sterss cuz of the paparazzi, battling her drug addiction, growling her hair back, bing insecure so the press doesnt make up fake stories of her....i think she deserves a break from the paps. i mean everyone treats her like a Freakshow. and i always listen to her motto. "Make it a FREAKSHOW!" from her new album song "Freakshow"

She is very immature acting. I don't know about the worst Momma as there are a lot that are worse than her, but as far as celebrities in the national spotlight, I think she takes top honors.

I think she needs to be treated for Post natal depression, if she submits to treatment for that and the other things that go hand in hand with the problem, then she can review her time with her children.

She's been in the lime light all this time, and the strain she's been under to be the star mum has been too much for her.
