a good twist would be that the doctors at the hospital were able to save the baby. The father got custody and raised him. 20 years later he found out that she didnt commit suicide because of the baby. She did it cause she was sleeping with his best friend and couldnt break the news it was not his.

Maybe he could find her half alive and then she tells him why she attemped suicide. Then it's a race against time to save her because it's in the middle of nowhere. She is saved and when the baby is born she says the baby isn't his and that is why she attempted suicide. But he doesn't care and raises the baby as his own and stays with the mom.

A good twist would be if the dead mother rose from the grave, and pulled the father down into the ground with her.
Like the end of the Stephen King book/movie, Carrie.

I'm sorry, i don't have any ideas, but all the previous ones are good.
I just wanted to say, that if he killed himself like you said, how would he realise it wasn't his?
To all the people who saw the baby moving- she's 8 weeks. You can't see anything at 8 weeks.

I would make it an attempted suicide. When the boyfriend comes in and finds her he calls 911 and her life and the baby's are saved.
While she is in the hospital, in critical condition, she reveals to him "the twist" - she was raped but will not tell him who did it, because she knows he will take his revenge on the man.
Her boyfriend vows to marry her and care for her and adopt the baby as his own.

Even in fiction, it's not reasonable for her to kill herself just for being pregnant. I find it hard to expand on a flimsy premise like that. The motivation for her actions simply isn't there. Heck, the boyfriend doesn't even know.
You have to have a believable chain of events leading to the suicide, or nothing that happens after it will be believable either.

As he enters the room, he sees the love of his life motionless on the floor. He calls her name, but there is no response. He calls her name again, this time his voice comes out soft and crackly. As he somehow expected in the pit of his soul, there is once again no response from the body of his beloved on the floor. He reaches for her. He bends over to look down at her beautiful face. There is blood all around her. Her wrists are cut open. He stares at her in disbelief, in fear, in rage. How could she do this to herself, to him, to the baby? He becomes consumed with emotions. There's no point in going on for him. There is nothing left. He takes the razor she had used and cuts his own wrists. The blood starts to pour. He loses consciousness. He falls down beside his love. Just before he loses touch with this world and heads for the next, he sees her stomach moving, the baby moving. The baby is alive. He then hears sirens. Then he sees and hears nothing, for eternity.
