I remember Reeses Pieces being sold over here for a while in the eighties, under the guise of being 'ET' sweets.
I can also remember getting a 10p mix after school. You'd get loads! There were hundreds of little half penny sweeets to pick from - Mojo's, little liquorice beads with a white sugary coating, fruit salads and black jacks....those were the days!

Jap deserts, kola cubes, pineapple chunks, MB bars, swizzles, swizzle lollies, love hearts, refreshers, imps, lucky potatoes, blackjacks, penny dainties, lucky bags, gob stoppers, cherry lips, toffets, toffo-luxe, cinnamon balls, ABC's, parma violets, Five Boys, sweet tobacco, licorice shoelaces, Old English Spangles, mojos, pear drops, acid drops, dib dabs, sherbet fountains, jellytots, soor plooms, aniseed twists, barley sugars, bullseyes, clove balls.

Political correctness got rid of sweetie cigarettes, sweet tobacco and chocolate cigarettes.

i bypass to initiate a carry back Spangles marketing campaign ! I undergo in suggestions the mcgowans toffees you're able to desire to purchase for a penny and that they semed to great and you'd be chewing them for a while, chelsea whoppers oh and the bubble gum referred to as bubbly (think of they are nevertheless available yet not as sturdy) and those lollipops of purple brittle sugar candy in slightly foil tray that used to have some many babies reducing their mouths *sigh* sturdy cases carry back Spangles !!!!
